The existing amenity Lake 5 was over-excavated and lined with clay to stop seepage and expensive supplemental well water from maintaining static water levels for residents’ enjoyment.  Odyssey oversaw geotechnical testing and recommendations and a topographic survey for design purposes.  The existing side slopes were maintained, and over 15,000 cubic yards of material were removed and replaced with a 2-foot clay liner. The lake was behind numerous residents’ homes, and access to trucking was limited.
